Crash Experience
By Firehawk72, October 2, 2010

I've always liked the Firebird/Transam. I've currently had 3, a 1989, a 195, & most recently, a 2000.
Although buying lately, I came across a good deal on a perfect 2000 Firebird Convertible. Red/Black... Stunning vehicle... The outside design is amazing, and also the vehicle looks amazing with all the top down.
Efficiency was usually excellent, whether about the highway, driving another vehicle, or from the dead quit to leap out into traffic. Usually lots of capacity to spare.
Nevertheless, my best commendations with this vehicle visit my traveler in a current accident and how its style secured myself.
We hydroplaned in the torrential rain, although on the New York highway. Our traveleris mom noticed everything occur, and was within the vehicle before us. We did 3 finish 360's, crashed in to the middle guardrail of the interstate, and kept planning, getting out about eighty' of the guardrail. The harm to the vehicle is substantial (actually, it's totalled), but neither I or my traveler had just one damage on us. The reduced, broad position, in my opinion, held us from moving over. My traveler was guarded by the heavy gates in the guardrail, which ripped open the passenger dooris external cell just like a can-opener. We equally were stored by the heavy bucket seats using their sufficient helps securely in position, and held us from bumped and getting jostled around. We are not even aching! The vehicle performed incredibly!!
I'm currently searching for, although it saddens me to possess yet another of those incredible vehicles removed the street my next one!!!

Great car for the money

I've a 2000 Pontiac Transam an its been among the most dependable automobiles I've actually possessed. Excellent design-I usually get remarks how great-looking of the vehicle it's. You certainly can not beat the efficiency for that cost-particularly today. The LS1 motor rocks an almost bulletproof, Ive overheated quarry before as a result of defective radiator cover however it still operates amazing a does not miss a beat-the vehicle itself will most likely break apart prior to the LS1 does. The only real issues I didnt like were the plastic inside wears quickly and also the screen engines really are a poor style so that they venture out alot-theres also a lot of different small things-but im not gonna NIT-pick-the Trans-Am is definitely an amazing vehicle an I absolutely intend on keeping mine for awhile.
